Swinging!

One of the cool things about twins is that you can put them both in a baby swing together, back to back. Jim was dubious, but I told him I've seen a million and one photos of it online, so he let me try it out. Before we got to the swings, though, we took the girls offroading in the Combi, aww yeah. After how much they loved the incredibly bumpy stroller ride on the pier at my parents' house over Thanksgiving, it should come as no surprise that they were ALL ABOUT the Combi ride over rough(ish) terrain. They giggled like madwomen as we went over twigs and roots and piles of leaves and through the mud. And the Combi performed quite admirably, I must say!

Yesterday we took advantage of some unusually warm January weather to take the girls out for their first time on a swingset. We've had a few other warm days this winter, but they've all been during the week, so no chance to take them to the park.
Anyway, the girls absolutely loved(!) the swing. They once again giggled like madwomen and squealed with delight as they soared higher and higher. Once the weather warms up more reliably, I see many days at the park in our future.
